Deontay Wilder, Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford to fight on Amazon Prime? Al Haymon's PBC report

Al Haymon's PBC are reportedly now in talks for a potentially groundbreaking new streaming deal with Amazon Prime.

It's been widely reported that PBC's current broadcaster Showtime will be leaving the boxing business at the end of this year and so are not renewing their contract.

It's claimed that they may still continue broadcasting occasional major PPV fights, but will have no more regular boxing events.

As a result, Sports Illustrated reporter Chris Mannix is now reporting that PBC have held talks with Amazon over a possible streaming partnership.

Mannix said on his podcast: “I do know that PBC has talked to Amazon.

"I believe that’s their preferred destination. They'd prefer to do a deal with Amazon.

"Amazon have gotten into sports more than other streaming services over the last couple of years.

"I know there have been discussions between PBC and Amazon.

"I don't know what Amazon are looking to do - whether they're looking to become a Showtime-like boxing provider or one-off shows, I don't know the answer to that question.

"But there has been dialogue between PBC officials and Amazon."
