HIGH-END car dealer and property investor Nick Theodossi has listed his sleek waterside Docklands home.

Mr Theodossi, owner of Nick Theodossi Prestige Cars, listed the townhouse with Kay & Burton, Hawthorn, last week.

Agent Sam Wilkinson said offers of more than $6 million were expected.

“Nick has upgraded the home in recent times and given it a greater sense of quality,” Mr Wilkinson said.

“It’s definitely a state-of-the-art residence, it has everything you would want in terms of contemporary living.”

Mr Theodossi and his partner, Carol, have lived in the property since it was built in 2011.

The striking home on four levels sits on the Yarra River at 40 South Wharf Drive, opposite the Victoria Harbour precinct.

Expressions of interest close at 5pm on Tuesday, April 21.

The man who runs Melbourne burger institution Andrew’s Hamburgers has listed his South Melbourne home for auction this month.

Greg and Eleni Mitropoulos have listed their renovated family home for a March 28 auction with Greg Hocking Holdsworth.

The Albert Park diner, managed by Mr Mitropoulos, was named Victoria’s best bun on TripAdvisor’s list of Top 10 Boutique Burger Joints in Australia last year.

The bayside burger institution, famous for its traditional-style burgers, also marked its 75th year of trading in Albert Park last year.

Agent Shane Siemers said he expected offers of $1.3 million-plus for the four-bedroom home at 396 Dorcas St.

“It’s been beautifully renovated with high quality finishes,” he said.

Acclaimed ballet dancer Li Cunxin has listed the extravagant former boutique hotel “The Tilba” for auction this month.

Abercromby’s, Armadale, agents Rob Vickers-Willis and Hugh Hardy have the South Yarra listing, with price expectations of about $4 million.

The former boutique hotel was renovated by Cunxin into a six-bedroom, six-bathroom residence.

Cunxin penned his 2003 best-selling autobiography Mao’s Last Dancer that later became a film of the same name.

“There’s nothing else like this, not with the scale or drama that The Tilba has,” Mr Hardy said.

“It has quite an amazing foyer that would easily cater for a cocktail party of 30-40 people.”

The 30 Toorak Rd West, South Yarra, property will go to private auction on Thursday.

The auctioneer’s arm action will be the only one that matters when the childhood property of former Test bowler Ian Meckiff goes under the hammer in Mentone on the weekend.

Meckiff found fame after being called for throwing in the 1963 Test against South Africa.

His former address is now owned by Jan and Geoff Brown, who love the history of the area and, while they replaced the original Meckiff house almost 20 years ago, have kept some features as historical tributes.

The four-bedroom home at 34 Milan St is advertised at $1.175 million-$1.305 million and is up for auction with Thomson, Mentone, on March 21 at 11am.
